Explore Our 3 proposal for Olive Oil Experiences
Each olive oil tasting experience (except for number 3, the cooking class) begins with a scenic e-bike excursion through the Tuscan countryside and its stunning olive groves.
Pedal along quiet, picturesque paths, immersing yourself in the beauty of rolling hills before savoring the rich flavors of organic extra virgin olive oil.
We’d also like to specify that every formula can be modified based on everyone’s needs.
EVO and wine tasting
Savor the Essence of Tuscany in Every Drop
The first formula offered by the Maestrod’olio Academy starts with a theoretical introduction to the world of extra virgin olive oil, focusing on recognising scents and flavours, followed by a tasting of 3-4 oils, starting with a “commercial” one, and then moving on to the tasting of the excellent oils from all around Italy.
Usually, we try to introduce the guests to a local olive oil, from farms based in Lucca, another oil from Tuscany and then one from another italian region.
After the tasting, the Maestrod’olio offers a small round of appetizers to the guests, that includes some traditional appetizers from Tuscany, such as crostini with prosciutto crudo, pecorino cheese and some other local products, paired with the unique extra virgin olive oil. The experience will include a tasting of 2 italian wines.
Usually, the duration of the full experience is of about 2 hours.
Price for 2 guests € 179 per person
Price for 3 – 4 guests € 159 per person
Price for more than 5 guests € 139 per person

A Delightful Blend of Taste and Heritage
The second formula that the Maestrod’olio Academy offers, also starts with a a theoretical introduction to the world of extra virgin olive oil, focusing on recognising scents and flavours, followed by a tasting of 3-4 oils, starting with a “commercial” one, and then move on to the tasting of the excellent oils from all around Italy.
Usually, we try to introduce the tasters to a local olive oil, from farms based in Lucca, another oil from Tuscany and then one from another Italian region.

The experience will include a tasting of 2 italian wines.
The appetizers will be followed by a first course; we usually cook some artisanal bronze-drawn pasta with some homemade sauce that we will make the same morning, with amazing basil scents and an extra virgin olive oil that the guests will be able to choose after the tasting.
After the first course, we will serve a small dessert to the guests.
The full duration of this experience is of 2 ½ hours.
Price for 2 guests € 199 per person
Price for 3 – 4 guests € 179 per person
Price for more than 5 guests € 159 per person
Cooking class, EVO and wine tasting, lunch
Master the Art of Tuscan Flavors
The third formula that the Maestrod’olio Academy offers is to get hands-on in the kitchen, and to make our guests put on an apron and cook with the Maestrod’olio; so that they can prepare and learn how to make an artisanal mayonnaise, homemade fresh pasta, olive oil cookies or fried vegetables.
Usually the homemade fresh pasta is the most engaging and fun experience.
The cooking class will end with a ligh lunch consisting of what the guests prepared, accompanied by a round of local appetizers and ending with a dessert.
Everything will be paired with 2 italian wines and it’s possible to do an oil tasting before lunch.
The duration of this experience will be of about 3 hours.
This particular formula is for a maximum of 6 guests, given the size of our kitchen.
All the prices are exclusive of VAT and also include the possibility of considering your commission as an additional amount.
Price for 1-6 guests € 185 per person
